Ultimate Potato Skins Recipe

Makes 8 potato skins

Takes about 1 hour & 10 minutes

-what you need-

  • 4 large potatoes
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Onion powder & garlic powder
  • 1 cup fresh grated cheddar cheese, I used a mix of white and orange
  • 8 strips of bacon, cooked
  • Chili Cheese Fritos
  • 1/4 cup green onions, thinly sliced
  • Sour cream

-what to do-

  1. In an oven or air fryer, bake your potatoes at 400 degrees for 45 minutes until tender.
  2. Cut your potatoes in half and scoop out the insides. Leave about 1/4 inch of potato in the shell. Save the insides for potato soup or mash!
  3. Next, season your potato skins to your liking with salt, pepper, onion & garlic powder.
  4. Next, fill each potato skin with some shredded cheese, 1 slice each of crumbled bacon and a few chili fritos.
  5. Bake or air fry at 400 until cheese is melted, about 5-8 minutes.
  6. Garnish with green onion and a dollop of sour cream.
  7. ENJOY!!!
