Bloody Voorhees

Bloody Voorhees Recipe

makes 1 drink

takes about 30 minutes

-what you need-

Cocktail Mix

  • 2 shots vodka
  • 1 1/2 – 2 cups Bloody Mary mix
  • Squeeze of fresh lemon
  • Fresh cracked pepper
  • Hot sauce
  • Ice

Garnish

  • Thick cut bacon
  • 2 Tbs brown sugar
  • 1 Tbs Old bay seasoning
  • Cocktail onions
  • Green olives
  • Kalamata olives
  • Prosciutto wrapped mozzarella sticks
  • Almond slices
  • Mini pepper
  • Lemon wedge
  • 2 Tbs honey
  • 2 drops red food coloring

-what to do-

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Do not use foil.
  2. Place your bacon on the baking sheet and cover with brown sugar and old bay. Bake until edges start to crisp and bacon gets sticky. About 20 minutes, set aside and let cool.
  3. Get your garnishes ready, I used a cocktail onion and thinly sliced kalamata to make an eyeball.
  4. For the “finger” use your prosciutto wrapped mozzarella and place a sliced almond at the top just tucked under the prosciutto.
  5. And the blood!! Mix your honey with red food coloring and set aside.
  6. When ready to make your drink, fill glass with ice and pour in your shots and Bloody Mary mix.
  7. Squeeze in your lemon, add a few dashes hot sauce and bit of fresh black pepper.
  8. Next add in all your garnishes!
  9. When ready to serve, drip your red honey on the edge of your glass and watch it get horrific!!!
  10. Serve immediately and enjoy!!!!
